Overview

NH-102 is a small molecule drug in development for the treatment of major depressive disorder. It acts as an antagonist at the serotonin 2A (5-HT2A) receptor, and as an inhibitor of both the dopamine transporter (DAT) and norepinephrine transporter (NET). This multi-target mechanism suggests it modulates serotonergic, dopaminergic, and noradrenergic neurotransmission. The drug is being developed by Jiangsu Nhwa Pharmaceutical for oral administration. As of early 2025, NH-102 has reached Phase 2 clinical trials in China for major depressive disorder[1][2][4][5].
