Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NH302 is a peripherally selective kappa-type opioid receptor agonist developed by Beijing Enhua Pharmaceutical Research Institute, a subsidiary of Enhua Pharmaceutical. It is being developed as a Class 1 innovative chemical drug for the treatment of acute pain. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that NH302 exhibits potent agonistic activity at the kappa-type opioid receptor, showing excellent analgesic efficacy across multiple animal models of pain with a low effective dose, long duration of action, and a wide safety margin for sedation. In August 2026, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China approved the clinical trial application for NH302 injection to initiate Phase 1 clinical trials for acute pain.
