Niaotong Kakenaiqi Tablets (尿通卡克乃其片) is a traditional Uyghur herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Xinjiang Yinduolan Uighur Medicine Co., Ltd. It is formulated as an oral tablet based on traditional Uyghur medicine theory. The drug is indicated for the treatment of urinary tract or urogenital conditions, as suggested by its name 'Niaotong' (urinary passage). While the specific molecular mechanism of action has not been defined in modern pharmacological terms, it is a multi-herb formulation. Toxicity studies in rats have demonstrated a high safety profile, with no significant toxic effects observed at doses up to 50 times the proposed clinical dose.
