NIB-101 (TBI-1501) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD19 antigen, primarily developed for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. This therapy utilizes proprietary **PRIME** (Proliferation-inducing and migration-enhancing) technology, which engineers the CAR-T cells to co-express **Interleukin-7 (IL-7)** and **C-C motif chemokine ligand 19 (CCL19)**. IL-7 is a key cytokine that supports the survival and homeostatic proliferation of T cells, while CCL19 is a chemokine that recruits endogenous T cells and dendritic cells to lymphoid tissues and tumor sites. By secreting these factors, NIB-101 aims to enhance the persistence of the CAR-T cells and stimulate the host's own immune system to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment, potentially improving efficacy in patients with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphomas.
