Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Stomin A (ストミンA配合錠) is a combination pharmaceutical product developed and marketed by Zonnebodo Pharmaceutical in Japan for the treatment of tinnitus. It consists of three active components: nicotinamide (Vitamin B3), papaverine hydrochloride, and thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1). Papaverine acts as a non-selective phosphodiesterase inhibitor, promoting smooth muscle relaxation and vasodilation to improve blood flow to the inner ear. Nicotinamide and thiamine serve as essential metabolic precursors and cofactors that support neuronal health and vascular integrity. The combination is specifically indicated for the relief of ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
