Overview

A smoking cessation approach that combines nicotine replacement therapy with denicotinized cigarettes. Denicotinized cigarettes are tobacco products with most of their nicotine removed (typically containing around 0.05 mg nicotine), while nicotine replacement provides controlled amounts of nicotine to manage withdrawal symptoms. This combination addresses both the pharmacological addiction to nicotine and the behavioral/sensory aspects of smoking.
