Overview

Nidadd is an extended-release formulation of niacin, also known as vitamin B3, developed by Genovate Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It is being investigated for the management of hyperlipidemia, a condition characterized by high levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. Niacin works through multiple mechanisms to improve lipid profiles, including reducing the synthesis and increasing the degradation of 'bad' cholesterol (LDL and VLDL) and raising 'good' cholesterol (HDL).
