Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NIDB-3001 is a fully human κλ IgG antibody developed as an antimicrobial agent targeting Gram-negative outer membrane proteins. It is designed to interfere with essential processes in the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth independently of host effector functions. The drug is being developed for the treatment of Gram-negative bloodstream infections, including those caused by *Escherichia coli* and *Klebsiella pneumoniae*. NIDB-3001 remains in the discovery or lead optimization phase and has not yet entered clinical trials. The developer is Discoveric Bio Beta (a part of Discoveric Bio Group), with Light Chain Bioscience also associated through partnership or technology platform[1][4][5].
