Overview
Niktoraal is an NKT cell-based therapy developed by Kian Immune Cell Company for the treatment of solid tumors. Natural Killer T (NKT) cells are a specialized subset of lymphocytes that bridge the innate and adaptive immune systems. They express a semi-invariant T-cell receptor (TCR) that recognizes glycolipid antigens presented by the CD1d molecule. Niktoraal is designed to harness the potent cytotoxic capabilities of NKT cells and their ability to rapidly produce cytokines, thereby modulating the tumor microenvironment and promoting a robust anti-tumor immune response. The product is currently in preclinical development.
