NILK-2501

NILK-2501 is a preclinical-stage bispecific antibody developed by LamKap Bio gamma, a subsidiary of LamKap Bio. It is engineered using the proprietary κλ body (kappa-lambda body) platform to simultaneously target Glypican-3 (GPC3) on tumor cells and the CD3 complex on T cells. GPC3 is a cell-surface oncofetal proteoglycan that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma, while being absent or minimally expressed in normal adult tissues. The mechanism of action involves T-cell redirection, where the antibody brings cytotoxic T cells into close proximity with GPC3-expressing cancer cells, leading to T-cell activation and the subsequent release of perforins and granzymes to induce tumor cell lysis. This approach aims to provide a targeted immunotherapy for patients with GPC3-positive solid malignancies.
