Overview

Nilvanstomig (ZG005) is a recombinant humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody that simultaneously targets Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and T-cell Immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT). Developed by Suzhou Zelgen Biopharmaceutical, it is designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by blocking two distinct inhibitory pathways that limit T-cell and natural killer (NK) cell activity. By co-targeting PD-1 and TIGIT, nilvanstomig aims to provide superior efficacy compared to PD-1/PD-L1 monotherapy, particularly in tumors that exhibit resistance to standard checkpoint inhibitors. It is currently being investigated in clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including a Phase 2 study in combination with donafenib or bevacizumab as a first-line treatment for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.
