Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ZG005 + paclitaxel + cisplatin (also known as nilvanstomig in combination with paclitaxel and cisplatin) is an investigational chemoimmunotherapy regimen being evaluated for the first-line treatment of advanced cervical cancer. Nilvanstomig (ZG005) is a recombinant humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Zelgen that simultaneously targets the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and T-cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT) pathways, aiming to synergistically restore T-cell and NK-cell mediated anti-tumor immune responses. Paclitaxel is a taxane-class microtubule stabilizer that inhibits cell division, while cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that causes DNA cross-linking and induces apoptosis. This combination regimen is being evaluated in a Phase I/II clinical trial (NCT06241235) with or without the anti-VEGF antibody bevacizumab.
