Overview

Nintedanib + mFOLFOX6 is a combination therapy consisting of **nintedanib**, a small molecule triple angiokinase inhibitor, and the **mFOLFOX6 chemotherapy regimen**, which includes oxaliplatin, folinic acid (leucovorin), and fluorouracil (5-FU)[1][3][5]. Nintedanib targets angiogenesis by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR 1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR 1-3), and platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR α and β), thereby interfering with tumor blood vessel formation[3][5]. mFOLFOX6 is a widely used chemotherapy regimen that combines oxaliplatin, folinic acid, and fluorouracil for the treatment of colorectal cancer[2][4]. The combination has been investigated primarily for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).
