Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NIPEP-MUS is a peptide-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Nano Intelligent Biomedical Engineering Corporation (NIBEC) for the treatment of sarcopenia, an age-related condition characterized by the progressive loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength. Developed using NIBEC's proprietary peptide discovery platform, NIPEP-MUS is designed to act as a regenerative agent to restore muscle mass and function. The candidate is currently in the preclinical stage of development, where it is being evaluated for its efficacy in promoting muscle tissue repair and preventing atrophy. It is distinct from NIBEC's other sarcopenia candidate, NP-401, which specifically targets Klotho signaling.
