Rucaparib is a small molecule poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, used to impede DNA repair in homologous recombination-deficient cancer cells, thereby promoting cell death. This triplet has been clinically investigated for the treatment of relapsed ovarian cancer and other advanced solid tumors, particularly in patients with homologous repair deficiency.
