Overview

This is a **combination therapy** comprising nivolumab, ipilimumab, and rucaparib. Nivolumab is a monoclonal antibody that inhibits the programmed death-1 (PD-1) receptor on T cells to enhance antitumor immune responses. Ipilimumab is a monoclonal antibody that blocks cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4) on T cells, further promoting immune activity against tumors. Rucaparib is a small molecule poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor, used to impede DNA repair in homologous recombination-deficient cancer cells, thereby promoting cell death. This triplet has been clinically investigated for the treatment of relapsed ovarian cancer and other advanced solid tumors, particularly in patients with homologous repair deficiency.
