Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of nivolumab, a programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) inhibitor, and cyclophosphamide, an alkylating agent. Nivolumab blocks the PD-1 pathway, helping the immune system recognize and attack cancer cells, while cyclophosphamide at metronomic doses provides both immunomodulatory and antiangiogenic effects. This combination is being investigated for various cancer types, particularly in pediatric patients with refractory/relapsing solid tumors.
