Overview

Nivolumab + telisotuzumab vedotin is an investigational combination therapy for cancer. Nivolumab is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to restore T-cell antitumor activity. Telisotuzumab vedotin (Teliso-V) is an antibody-drug conjugate composed of a monoclonal antibody targeting c-Met linked to the cytotoxic agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). The combination aims to enhance antitumor efficacy by both directly killing c-Met–expressing tumor cells and boosting immune-mediated tumor cell destruction. This regimen has been studied in phase 1b clinical trials for patients with advanced non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors overexpress c-Met[1][2][6].
