Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nivoxia-PG is a fixed-dose combination oral medication developed and marketed by Vin Medicament Pvt Ltd for the management of pain and inflammation, particularly in conditions with a neuropathic component. It contains etoricoxib, a selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor that provides potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by reducing prostaglandin synthesis, and pregabalin, an alpha-2-delta ligand that modulates voltage-gated calcium channels to decrease the release of excitatory neurotransmitters. Formulated as a sustained-release (SR) tablet, Nivoxia-PG is designed to provide prolonged therapeutic relief, making it suitable for chronic pain management in conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and various neuropathic pain syndromes.
