NJA-001 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived, off-the-shelf, immune-evasive T lymphocyte cell therapy developed by Shinobi Therapeutics. It is a first-in-class immunotherapy designed to provide T lymphocyte replacement and exert immunologic cytotoxicity against cancer cells. The therapy specifically targets Glypican-3 (GPC3), a protein commonly overexpressed in certain solid tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma and some other cancers. As an allogeneic product derived from iPSCs, it aims to overcome limitations of autologous therapies by offering scalable manufacturing and immune evasion properties for broader patient applicability. Currently, it is in preclinical development for colorectal cancer, liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), and non-small cell lung cancer[1][2][3].
