NK-520 is an investigational natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by Base Therapeutics for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, primarily acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It is classified as a cell therapy and functions through immunologic cytotoxicity and natural killer cell replacement mechanisms. The drug is administered intravenously and is currently in early clinical development (Early Phase 1/Phase 0) for relapsed or refractory AML in both adult and pediatric populations. There has also been preclinical investigation for ovarian cancer. As of now, there are no approved indications or known adverse events reported for this product.
