Overview

NK Cell Therapy (Autologous) is an autologous cell therapy developed by Shining Biotech. The treatment involves the extraction, expansion, and activation of a patient's own natural killer (NK) cells, which are then re-infused to target and eliminate malignant cells. This therapy is approved in Taiwan under the Special Regulations for Medicinal Products for Treating Rare Diseases and for Regenerative Medicine (再生醫療施行細則). It is indicated for patients with Stage 1-3 solid cancers who have failed standard treatments, as well as for Stage 4 solid cancers including colorectal, esophageal, gastric, lung, liver, breast, prostate, renal cell carcinoma, and malignant glioma. Shining Biotech partners with several hospitals in Taiwan, including Chang Bing Show Chwan Memorial Hospital, Renji Hospital, Tung's Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital, and Taipei Mackay Memorial Hospital, for the administration of this therapy.
