Overview

NK-Shield is a preclinical peptide-based inhibitor of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) developed by Ingenium Therapeutics. Utilizing the company's FiC peptide platform, the drug is designed to inhibit p38 signaling, which is known to suppress the antitumor activity of natural killer (NK) cells within the tumor microenvironment. By protecting and enhancing NK cell effector functions, NK-Shield aims to overcome immune evasion and provide a novel therapeutic approach for the treatment of various solid tumors. The program is currently in the preclinical proof-of-concept (PoC) stage.
