Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NKp30-directed bispecific natural killer cell engagers (NKCEs) are a class of bispecific antibody-based immunotherapies designed to redirect and activate natural killer (NK) cells against tumor cells. These engagers simultaneously target the activating receptor NKp30 (NCR3, CD337) constitutively expressed on NK cells and a tumor-associated antigen (TAA) on cancer cells, such as CD38, GPRC5D, EGFR, or B7-H3. By bridging NK cells and tumor cells, NKp30-directed bispecific engagers promote immune synapse formation, trigger NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity, and induce the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines to eliminate malignant cells. This approach represents a promising therapeutic strategy for hematological malignancies, such as multiple myeloma and B-cell neoplasia, as well as solid tumors.
