NKT-1992 is an investigational small-molecule antiviral agent discovered by NiKang Therapeutics using structure-based design and licensed to Hansoh Pharma for development and commercialization in China. It targets a highly conserved enzymatic domain that is critical for viral transcription and replication, with the aim of rapidly reducing viral load and improving associated signs and symptoms of infection.[4][5] NKT-1992 remains in preclinical development, and detailed target identity, indication focus, and clinical data have not yet been publicly disclosed.[4][5]
