Overview

NKT5097 is an orally administered, novel, selective dual protein degrader that targets cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) and cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4). It is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. As a dual degrader, NKT5097 induces the selective degradation of both CDK2 and CDK4 proteins, which are critical regulators of cell cycle progression in many cancers. The drug is in phase 1 clinical trials, focusing on safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in adults with various types of advanced/metastatic solid tumors, including but not limited to cancers of the breast, lung, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, reproductive organs, and soft tissue[1][3][5][7][8].
