Overview

NLP91 is a small molecule drug candidate developed by NovaLead Pharma for the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. It is based on an FDA-approved generic drug molecule that has demonstrated novel anti-inflammatory activity, discovered through in-silico screening and validated in vitro. The drug is being developed as a topical therapy targeting mild-to-moderate psoriasis, which represents the majority of psoriasis cases. As of March 2025, NLP91 remains in preclinical development with ongoing animal model studies to further validate its efficacy and safety.
