Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**NLY03** is an orally active neuroprotective small molecule agent in early discovery/preclinical development by Neuraly for neurodegenerative diseases, primarily targeting stroke and Parkinson's disease. It modulates targets within the **parthanatos cascade**, a regulated form of necrosis involving PARP1 hyperactivation, AIF translocation, and neuronal death, to promote neuronal survival pathways. Currently in lead optimization, it represents Neuraly's third pipeline candidate following GLP-1R agonist NLY01 and kinase inhibitor NLY02, with a focus on blood-brain barrier penetration for central nervous system protection.
