Overview

**NM133** is an investigational topical ophthalmic formulation of **cyclosporine A (CsA)** at concentrations of 0.01–0.1% w/v, utilizing Nanomerics' proprietary **Molecular Envelope Technology (MET)**, a non-irritant polymeric micelle system that enhances ocular penetration of hydrophobic drugs. Developed for **dry eye disease**, it delivers **2–3 times more CsA** to the cornea than NOVA2007 and **up to 5 times more** than Restasis (0.05% CsA), achieving corneal AUC0-24h levels of 25,780 ng·h/g in rabbits, with stability up to 387 days at 4°C and optical clarity suitable for topical use. The MET polymer enables efficient CsA delivery to corneal, conjunctival, and scleral tissues without irritation up to 4% w/v concentration.
