Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**NMI-8000** is a recombinant protein therapeutic representing the biologically active form of Müllerian Inhibitory Substance (MIS), also known as Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH). Developed by Nemucore Medical Innovations, it selectively targets cancers expressing the MIS type II receptor (AMHR2), particularly ovarian cancers and other AMHR2-positive tumors often resistant to standard therapies. By binding to AMHR2, NMI-8000 induces apoptosis in receptor-positive cancer cells, offering a novel targeted approach for gynecologic malignancies with a licensing agreement for manufacturing via Pfenex Inc.'s protein production platform.[1][10][13]
