By inhibiting these proteins, NMS-03592088 aims to block signaling pathways that drive proliferation and resistance in leukemic cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials as monotherapy for patients with relapsed or refractory AML, including those with FLT3 mutations who have failed prior therapies such as venetoclax or gilteritinib[4][5]. The drug has received orphan drug designation for AML in the United States[1].
