NMT25 is an investigational alpha-emitting radiopharmaceutical therapy candidate being developed as the therapeutic counterpart to the zirconium-89–labeled humanized anti-MUC5AC antibody NMK89 within a theranostic platform for pancreatic cancer. Preclinical work describes NMK89 and NMT25 as a matched diagnostic–therapeutic pair that targets the mucin protein MUC5AC, which is overexpressed in many pancreatic cancers, using the same antibody scaffold but labeled with different radionuclides for imaging versus therapy. NMT25 is designed to deliver actinium-225–based targeted alpha therapy to MUC5AC-expressing tumor cells, aiming to achieve potent localized DNA damage and tumor cell kill while limiting exposure to normal tissues through antigen-specific binding and the short path length of alpha particles.
