Overview

NNC0113-2023 (also known as OG2023SC and NN9023) was a long-acting oral glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) analogue developed by Novo Nordisk. It was formulated as a SNAC tablet for oral administration and designed to act as an antihyperglycemic agent by modulating the GLP-1 receptor pathway. The drug entered phase I clinical trials for type 2 diabetes mellitus but development was discontinued after initial studies in healthy volunteers. The discontinuation was attributed to Novo Nordisk's focus on next-generation oral semaglutide formulations[1][4].
