NNC0142-0002

NNC0142-0002 is an antagonizing human immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4) monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to the natural killer group 2 member D (NKG2D) receptor. The NKG2D receptor is expressed on T cells and innate lymphoid cells, where it plays a role in immune activation and inflammation. By blocking this receptor, NNC0142-0002 aims to reduce immune-mediated tissue damage associated with inflammatory diseases such as Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis. Clinical studies have shown that a single subcutaneous dose of 2 mg/kg was well tolerated, with most adverse events being mild or moderate in severity[1][3]. The drug demonstrated some efficacy in reducing disease activity at later time points (week 12) in Crohn's disease patients[1][3].
