Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NNC0662-0419 is an investigational triple agonist peptide designed for the treatment of obesity and overweight. It acts as an agonist at three key metabolic hormone receptors: the glucagon receptor (GCGR), gastric inhibitory polypeptide receptor (GIPR), and glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor (GLP-1R). By simultaneously activating these receptors, NNC0662-0419 aims to enhance weight loss through multiple mechanisms including appetite suppression, increased energy expenditure, and improved glucose metabolism. The drug is being developed by Novo Nordisk and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials as a once-weekly subcutaneous injection in adults with overweight or obesity[1][4][5]. This is its first evaluation in humans.
