NNC0705-0002 is an investigational long-acting peptide agonist of the **G-protein coupled receptor 10 (GPR10)**, also known as the **prolactin-releasing peptide receptor (PrRPR)**. Developed by Novo Nordisk, the agent is designed to treat cardiometabolic diseases, primarily obesity, by modulating central pathways involved in appetite regulation and energy balance. GPR10 is highly expressed in the hypothalamus and the area postrema, regions of the brain critical for sensing metabolic signals and controlling food intake.
