NNC9204-1513 (also known as NN9513 or HypoPen 1513) is a subcutaneously administered glucagon receptor agonist developed by Novo Nordisk for the rescue treatment of severe hypoglycemia. It is designed as an easy-to-use injectable product for emergency management of low blood sugar episodes. The drug acts by stimulating the glucagon receptor to rapidly increase blood glucose levels through hepatic glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis.
