NNI-370 is a novel small molecule therapeutic candidate developed by Neuronascent for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. It belongs to a proprietary family of compounds designed to stimulate neurogenesis, specifically by promoting the growth of new neurons from ventral midbrain stem cells. Additionally, NNI-370 exhibits neuroprotective properties by inhibiting the death of dopaminergic neurons, which are characteristically lost in Parkinson's disease. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase, aiming to provide a disease-modifying approach that both restores lost neuronal populations and preserves existing ones.
