Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**NNV-2 (NeuroNova, NSC-CRAd-S-pk7)** is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf oncolytic virotherapy platform developed by Calidi Biotherapeutics. It consists of immortalized tumor-tropic neural stem cells (NSCs) engineered to deliver an oncolytic adenovirus (CRAd-S-pk7) selectively to tumor sites, acting as a "Trojan horse" to shield the virus from immune inactivation, enable efficient tumor infiltration, and induce viral replication, tumor cell lysis, and a secondary anti-tumor immune response. Primarily indicated for high-grade gliomas, it is administered via injection into the tumor resection cavity walls post-surgery. Calidi holds exclusive worldwide licensing rights to the underlying patents, with prior Phase 1 data in newly diagnosed glioma showing good tolerability and promising efficacy when combined with radiation and temozolomide.[1][4][5]
