Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nodoryl Complex is an over-the-counter (OTC) fixed-dose combination analgesic developed and marketed by Meditop Pharmaceutical in Hungary. It contains three active ingredients: metamizole sodium monohydrate (a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic), caffeine (a central nervous system stimulant that enhances analgesic efficacy), and drotaverine hydrochloride (an antispasmodic agent). The product is specifically indicated for the treatment of severe headaches, headaches refractory to other treatments, and the initial phase of mild to moderate migraine attacks. It is available in two tablet strengths (200/30/20 mg and 400/60/40 mg) and works through a multi-modal mechanism that addresses both pain perception and vascular/smooth muscle spasms associated with headaches.
