Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Nogapendekin alfa inbakicept** is a recombinant interleukin-15 receptor agonist complex developed by ImmunityBio and commercialized in the United States as **Anktiva**. The complex comprises a modified human IL-15N72D superagonist associated with a dimeric human IL-15 receptor alpha sushi-domain/human IgG1 Fc fusion protein. It promotes proliferation and activation of natural killer cells and CD8-positive effector and memory T cells, supporting innate and adaptive antitumor immunity without intended expansion of regulatory T cells. In April 2024, the FDA approved intravesical Anktiva with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin for adults with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer with carcinoma in situ, with or without papillary tumors.
