Overview

QUILT-3.032 is an investigational combination immunotherapy consisting of the interleukin-15 (IL-15) receptor agonist nogapendekin alfa inbakicept (Anktiva) and Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG). Developed by ImmunityBio (originally originated by Altor BioScience), this combination is administered intravesically to treat patients with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Nogapendekin alfa inbakicept is an IL-15 superagonist complex that binds to IL-15 receptors on natural killer (NK) cells, CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells, driving the proliferation and activation of these effector cells and generating memory killer T cells. When co-administered with BCG, it synergistically enhances the immune response against bladder cancer cells, promoting tumor clearance and long-term bladder preservation.
