Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANKTIVA + CD19 t-haNK is a combination immunotherapy being developed by ImmunityBio (formerly NantCell/NantKwest) for the treatment of CD19-expressing B-cell malignancies, including relapsed/refractory Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The combination consists of **ANKTIVA** (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept), an IL-15 superagonist fusion protein, and **CD19 t-haNK**, an off-the-shelf, allogeneic NK-92-based cell therapy. ANKTIVA is designed to stimulate the proliferation and activation of NK cells and T cells by targeting the IL-15 receptor complex. CD19 t-haNK cells are genetically engineered to express a CD19-specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) for direct tumor targeting and a high-affinity CD16 (FcγRIIIa 158V) receptor to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). This dual-action approach combines cytokine-driven immune stimulation with targeted cellular cytotoxicity to overcome resistance in refractory lymphoma patients.
