Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nogapendekin alfa inbakicept + nivolumab + ipilimumab is a combination immunotherapy regimen being developed by ImmunityBio for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The regimen consists of nogapendekin alfa inbakicept (Anktiva; N-803), a first-in-class IL-15 receptor agonist complex that stimulates the proliferation and activation of CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, combined with two immune checkpoint inhibitors: nivolumab (Opdivo), which targets the PD-1 receptor, and ipilimumab (Yervoy), which targets the CTLA-4 receptor. By combining a cytokine-based immune stimulator with checkpoint blockade, the therapy aims to overcome immune resistance and enhance anti-tumor activity. This triplet combination is currently being evaluated in the Phase 3 QUILT-2.023 clinical trial as a first-line treatment for patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC.
