Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nolgileucel (GC101 TIL) is an autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cell therapy developed by Juncell Therapeutics (Shanghai Junsai Biological Technology) for the treatment of solid tumors, including advanced melanoma and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Unlike conventional TIL therapies that require high-intensity lymphodepleting chemotherapy and high-dose interleukin-2 (IL-2) administration, nolgileucel utilizes a proprietary DeepTIL® cell expansion platform to cultivate highly active TIL cells that do not require IL-2 administration and only require a low-intensity preconditioning regimen. This significantly reduces treatment-related toxicities and hospitalization times. In clinical trials, nolgileucel has demonstrated significant improvements in progression-free survival and objective response rates in patients with advanced melanoma who have failed prior anti-PD-1 therapy.
