NORDBIOTIC IBS 10 is a multi-strain probiotic dietary supplement developed by Nordic Biotic, a Polish R&D company specializing in microbiome research. Designed primarily for the management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), particularly the diarrhea-predominant subtype (IBS-D), the formulation contains a specific blend of probiotic bacterial strains deposited at the German DSMZ strain bank. The product works by modulating the gut microbiome, addressing intestinal dysbiosis, and influencing the gut-brain axis. Clinical data from an 8-week study using a daily dose of 5 billion CFU demonstrated significant improvements in global IBS symptoms, abdominal pain severity, and patient quality of life, with a 92% response rate on the IBS Global Improvement Scale (IBS-GIS) and Severity Scoring System (IBS-SSS).
