The product is designed as a harm reduction or smoking cessation tool for adult smokers, providing a smoke-free alternative to combustible cigarettes. The pouches are composed of plant-based fibers and a gum base, containing pharmaceutical-grade nicotine and food-grade flavorings. When placed between the upper lip and gum, the pouch delivers nicotine through the oral mucosa into the systemic circulation. The nicotine then acts as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the brain, mimicking the effects of tobacco-derived nicotine to alleviate cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It is available in various strengths, including 6 mg, 9 mg, and 11.2 mg per pouch.
