Normast microgranuli

Normast microgranuli is an oral formulation of ultra-micronized palmitoylethanolamide (PEA-um) developed by Epitech Group SpA. It is classified as a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) and is indicated for the dietary management of conditions characterized by neuroinflammation, chronic neuropathic pain, and neurodegeneration. The active ingredient, palmitoylethanolamide, is an endogenous lipid belonging to the ALIAmide (Autacoid Local Injury Antagonist amide) family. It acts as a biological modulator that targets non-neuronal immune cells, such as mast cells, microglia, and astrocytes, to restore physiological tissue reactivity. The mechanism of action is primarily mediated through the activation of the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-alpha). The microgranule formulation is designed for sublingual administration, allowing the product to dissolve directly on the tongue without the need for water, which may enhance patient compliance and absorption.
