Normoglobin

Normoglobin is a human normal immunoglobulin (IVIG) product developed and manufactured by Incepta Pharmaceuticals and Incepta Vaccines in Bangladesh. It is a biologic therapy composed of purified immunoglobulin-G (IgG) obtained from pooled human plasma. The product contains a broad spectrum of antibodies against various bacterial and viral pathogens prevalent in the general population. Normoglobin is primarily used as replacement therapy for patients with primary immunodeficiency or hypogammaglobulinemia, and as an immunomodulatory agent for autoimmune and inflammatory conditions such as idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), Guillain-Barre Syndrome, and Kawasaki Syndrome. It is produced through cold ethanol fractionation, chromatography, and rigorous virus inactivation processes, and is administered intravenously.
