Normoplaz

Normoplaz is a lyophilized (freeze-dried) human plasma product developed by the Republican Research and Practical Center of Transfusion and Medical Biotechnologies in Belarus. It is designed as a plasma-derived drug for the treatment of conditions requiring volume expansion and the replacement of essential plasma proteins, such as coagulation factors and albumin. The product is primarily indicated for hemorrhagic shock, burn disease, and various coagulopathies where rapid restoration of blood volume and hemostatic potential is critical. Unlike fresh frozen plasma, the lyophilized form of Normoplaz offers significant logistical advantages, including a longer shelf life at higher temperatures and the ability to be rapidly reconstituted for emergency use in pre-hospital or resource-limited settings.
